What to Bring and What's Provided

Firearms
Firearms are freely imported to South Africa on a temporary
import permit available at the airport on arrival.

We recommend a scope-sighted rifle of minimum 7mm calibre,
while pachyderms (Hippo, Rhino and Elephant) require a
minimum of a .375, but preferably bigger, calibre.

A shooting range is available on arrival to do the necessary
sighting of rifles.

Rifles of suitable calibre are also available to hire from us at
$40 per day (excluding ammunition).

Bowhunters, handgun- and birdhunters should talk to us
directly to arrange the proper facilities.
WHAT TO BRING
Health
Personal medication must be brought with. No other
precautions need to be taken as we have basic medical aid
available in our camps and a contracted medical doctor close
by for emergencies.
Transport
Point of arrival is
Johannesburg
International Airport
where you shall be
personally welcomed and
brought to our hunting
areas about 2.5 hours
drive from the airport.
Well equipped, reliable
4x4 vehicles are used
during hunts.
Trophies
Animals wounded or dead are considered taken and must be
paid for. Expert skinners will see to it that all trophies are
correctly skinned and prepared for the taxidermist of your
choice.
Utmost care is taken so that your trophies will
reach their destination in good condition.
